We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Surgical Oncology team at Emory University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing complex surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Nursing Director to lead clinical practice and education on the unit, division, and health system.
- Design, implement, and measure safe, cost-effective, evidence-based care strategies.
- Contribute to the advancement of nursing practice at the unit, system, local, state, and national levels.
- Provide direct care for complex patients with multi-system care issues.
- Provide expert nursing consultation to nurses, physicians, patients, and families to promote quality care.
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- Master's degree in nursing.
- Meets GA Board of Nursing requirements for CNS.
- Three years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse with at least two years of recent experience in the area of concentration.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
