Overview:
Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Surgical Oncology team at Emory University Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide leadership in integrating new knowledge and innovation within this specialty area, utilizing specialized knowledge and skills within the three spheres of influence: patient/family, nurses, and the organization/system.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Nursing Director(s) to lead clinical practice and education on the unit, within the division, and across the health system.
Design, implement, and measure safe, cost-effective, evidence-based care strategies.
Contribute to the advancement of nursing practice at the unit/system, local, state, and national levels, and apply the Professional Practice/Care Transformation Model across the health system.
Provide direct care for complex patients with multi-system care issues, considering cultural influences when collaborating with patients, family, and staff.
Provide expert nursing consultation to nurses, physicians, patients, and families to promote quality care.

Requirements:
Master's degree in nursing
Three years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least two years of recent experience in the area of concentration
BLS and ACLS certifications required
