About the Role

Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practice Specialist to join our Surgical Oncology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and educational leadership to promote and maintain quality improvement in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interprofessionally collaborate with administrative leaders, educators, nurses, and physicians to lead clinical practice and promote quality improvement.
  • Contribute to the advancement of nursing practice at the unit, system, local, state, national, and international levels.
  • Participate in and lead organizational and hospital-based professional activities to maintain and/or contribute knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments.
  • Direct and manage process improvement projects and initiatives that are congruent with EHC and nursing's strategic plan for innovation in healthcare.
Requirements
  • Professional Nursing Certification required (CCRN, CEN, OCN, etc.).
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
  • Three years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse with at least two years of recent experience in the area of concentration.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
