Job Title: Patient Care Team Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Team Lead to join our Urology Department at Virginia Hospital Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling, meeting, greeting, and registering patients in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. You will also be responsible for answering and routing telephone calls and messages, coordinating insurance verifications and preauthorizations, and taking payments and completing daily batching. Additionally, you will maintain medical records and prepare charts for clinic sessions, and provide assistance as needed to physicians, the Practice Manager, and clinical staff.

Requirements:

An associate degree is preferred. Two years of office/clerical or healthcare/medical - primary care/office experience is preferred. Certification/Licensure: None.
