Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The Brookdale Hospital Medical Center.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse. This role involves administering medications, performing various medical treatments, and providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including hygiene and physical comfort, medical treatments, and nutritional needs.
  • Administer medications as assigned and perform CPR.
  • Take vitals, transport patients, and prepare patients for tests and procedures.
  • Assist with ambulation and exercise, elimination, and patient safety.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Licensed and currently registered as a Practical Nurse in NYS.
  • Demonstrates competence and experience in nursing within the limits of preparation and legal scope of practice.
