Job Summary

PDS Tech is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our Aviation team in a dynamic and challenging role. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the maintenance and repair of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weighing procedures in accordance with manufacturers' recommended practices and procedures.
  • Obtain associated documentation, complete aircraft records, and document receipt upon arrival.
  • Coordinate inspection activities in compliance with computer tracking maintenance programs.
  • Perform inspections of aircraft, engines, parts, and components using precision tools, equipment, and other materials in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all work packages, records of arrival, maintenance, and corrective actions performed are documented accurately, and all specialized customer and regulatory paperwork is complete and required approvals have been obtained.
  • Perform walk-around inspections of aircraft for release from maintenance.
  • Perform return-to-service process and ensure assigned aircraft meets all airworthiness requirements prior to return to service.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification is required.
  • Ability to interpret and process all relative regulatory documents, actions, and requirements.
