We are seeking a skilled Machine Repair Mechanic to join our team at MillerKnoll Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing advanced mechanical breakdown and preventive maintenance on complex plant machinery and manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced mechanical breakdown and preventive maintenance on complex plant machinery and manufacturing equipment
  • Inspect, repair, and revise machinery and mechanisms to ensure process repeatability and uptime
  • Enhance and improve machine utilization to reduce changeover and set-up times
  • Partner with management, engineering, and vendors to select, specify, set-up, and train on new machinery and equipment
  • Act in a lead capacity and provide direction to other employees
Requirements
  • AU.S. Department of Labor Journeyman's Card in the mechanical repair field
  • A Maintenance Certificate and an Associate's degree in Welding and/or Machine Technology, or a U.S. Department of Labor Journeyman's Card in the mechanical field
  • Three to five years of related work experience
  • A valid driver's license
  • The ability to obtain a Herman Miller forklift, aerial platform, or other equipment operator's license
