Job Title: Machine Builder

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Machine Builder to join our team at GP Reeves Incorporated. As a Machine Builder, you will be responsible for building machine components and systems, modifying electrical enclosures, aluminum plates, and extrusion frames. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment will be essential in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build machine components and systems using hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical schematics.
  • Modify electrical enclosures, aluminum plates, and extrusion frames using provided drawings and layout templates.
  • Communicate with peers about job progress, drawing discrepancies, and completion of tasks.
  • Utilize checklists and open issues lists to ensure complete and quality products.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of machine building experience.
  • Comfortable working in an industrial environment.
  • Good mechanical skills, including attention to detail.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical systems.
  • Valid driver's license to deliver and pick up parts from local vendors.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Operations Physical Requirements:
  • Able to stand and work for extended periods of time.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis.
  • Able to move around in a factory environment, sometimes in tight spaces, in and around equipment.
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds periodically.
