About the Role

The Client Services Associate is a key member of our team at Alturas Analytics, Inc., responsible for supporting the Business Development team in servicing client accounts at the pre-award and post-award stage. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-Award:
    • Prepare business agreements, including project estimates, quotations, and statements of work.
    • Review and interpret study protocols to generate business documents, timelines, and budgeting.
    • Manage account and project information using customer relationship and project management processes.
  • Post-Award:
    • Transition clients from Business Development to scientific operations.
    • Work with Client Services Coordinator to identify and request essential information and documentation for planning bioanalytical support.
    • Interface with internal teams to transfer information pertinent for study conduct.
    • Address new business needs, such as scope creep or new study requests.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Review laboratory services and confidentiality agreements.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in science or business, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
    • Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical development industry or other technical industry.
    • Experience with CRM and project management software applications.
    • Life science or preclinical/clinical research experience.
    • Successful proposal and program coordination, client support, and marketing experience.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Critical thinking, time-management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with internal clients.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Sitting and working in front of a computer for extended periods.
    • Walking and standing between departments or offices.
    • Using a telephone for communication.
    • Climbing, balancing, stooping, or kneeling occasionally.
    • Talking or hearing for extended periods.
