About the Role

Advanced Systems Group is seeking an experienced Live Event Graphics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating graphics systems during live corporate events, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Graphics Operation: Operate slide decks, presentations, video files, or other material during live events and broadcasts.
  • Cue Management: Receive cues from presenters verbally, via a cueing system, or directly from the Show Caller.
  • Graphics Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for any needs relating to Graphics look, color, formatting, or other related issues.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency with configuration and programming of Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, Apple Keynote, and other related software platforms.
  • Event Execution: Ensure graphics are played out properly for streaming and event space experience.
  • System Operation: Utilize Qlab, OTA Express, and other systems for video playback.
  • Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients, talent, and Producers to ensure presentations are appearing as they were designed and intended.
  • Rehearsals and Testing: Conduct rehearsals with the production team, making necessary adjustments to materials and cue sheets, as required.
  • Pre-Event Checks: Perform thorough checks before every event to guarantee all equipment is functioning and configured properly.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years experience as a Graphics Operator, preferably for large or high-profile events, working in high-pressure environments.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.
  • Professionalism: Professionalism and ability to be helpful and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a broadcast team environment, including talent, producers, and directors, under strict time deadlines.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge and understanding of broadcast and production technology, including but not limited to Keynote, Google Slides, DSAN Perfect Cue, and Qlab.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multitask and adapt to rapid show-flow changes in a live and fluid environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent control room demeanor, proven leadership skills, team-first attitude, and the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interface Skills: Ability to interface with both technical and creative members of the event production ecosystem.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
