Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

At Tidelands Health, we're seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical sonograms and documenting anatomy measurements and abnormal or suspicious anatomy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic medical sonograms with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Document patient medical records with precision and thoroughness
  • Provide excellent patient care and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Assume on-call rotation on a regular basis and cover all sites as necessary
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Medical Sonography program or a minimum of one year Sonography experience
  • ARDMS certified or eligible; non-ARDMS registered technologists must successfully complete the ARDMS registry within one year of hire
  • American Heart Association Healthcare provider course with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include frequent standing, sitting, and walking, as well as occasional use of hands and fingers. The employee must exert 20 to 35 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 15 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
