Overview

The Clinical Social Work Supervisor is tasked with delivering weekly oversight to a dedicated team comprising two social workers and two case managers. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in crisis intervention and the ability to provide informed and precise guidance based on the specifics of each case. This role is entirely remote, requiring a commitment of up to 5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly individual supervisory sessions with each social worker and case manager to evaluate cases, therapeutic strategies, and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate bi-weekly team meetings to discuss case updates and procedural matters.
  • Collaborate with the director to communicate the team's needs and challenges.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed for social workers and case managers to obtain credit for supervision hours.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a valid NYS LMSW and NYS LCSW license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with school-aged children.
  • Prior experience in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ACS procedures, including reporting and follow-up.
  • Experience in hospital and various therapeutic environments.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time consulting position that is remote. Work hours and days must be scheduled between 8 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Friday.

Compensation

An hourly rate will be established based on the candidate's experience.

Travel Requirements

Minimal to no travel is anticipated.
