IT Security Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Manager to join our team at Amcor Flexibles, LLC. As a critical member of our IT Security Risk and Compliance team, you will be responsible for providing security platform management, global security systems, third-party risk management, security consulting, and preventing or reducing cyber risks that could impact business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Translate IT risk requirements and constraints of the business into technical control requirements and specifications.
- Develop metrics for ongoing performance measurement and reporting.
- Manage a staff of information security professionals, including hiring, training, and performance reviews.
- Work as a liaison with vendors and the legal and purchasing departments to establish mutually acceptable contracts and service-level agreements.
- Participate in change management board, architecture review board, and other forums as required.
- Consult with IT and security staff to ensure security is considered in the evaluation, selection, installation, and configuration of hardware, applications, and software.
- Manage security projects and provide expert guidance on security matters for other IT projects.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the Amcor Security vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Serve as an incident leader for major or high-profile security incidents.
- Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to provide recommendations for detection and mitigation.
- BS or MA in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Preferred - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
- 5+ years of experience in information security.
- 3+ years in a leadership role supervising multiple team members.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with business managers, IT engineering, and IT operations staff.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of and experience in developing and documenting security architecture and plans.
