ValidaTek, Inc. is seeking a skilled Help Desk Specialist I to join our team in Artesia, NM. As a Help Desk Specialist I, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and maintaining accurate records of software/hardware installation and relocation.
Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to end-users via software tools, telephone, or in-person
- Troubleshoot and communicate with end-users to resolve technical issues
- Install and/or replace end-user computing equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance work on end-user computing equipment
- Maintain accurate records of software/hardware installation and relocation
- 6+ months of experience troubleshooting software and hardware in a customer service role
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills using the English language
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ideal candidates will possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on Information Technology - Network Administration
- CompTIA Network+ or A+ Certification preferred
The salary range for this position is $34,762.50 - $57,937.50 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. ValidaTek, Inc. offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
