JSW Steel USA is in search of a Chief Technology Officer to lead our technological initiatives. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing our technological framework, critical information systems, and data management strategies. Additionally, they will explore new technologies and process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and enhance the overall management and strategic direction of current and emerging technologies within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance of IT systems and processes with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Lead the formulation of the IT strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the enterprise's strategic planning and business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert guidance on technical challenges related to software and hardware systems.
  • Oversee technical operations objectives and implement necessary action plans to achieve targets.
  • Facilitate training and knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
  • Collaborate with partners on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery initiatives.
  • Supervise direct reports, including performance monitoring and appraisal.
  • Recruit, select, orient, and develop staff while maintaining up-to-date job descriptions.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience leading a technical support and infrastructure team.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, computer information systems, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in analyzing business objectives and delivering effective solutions.
  • Experience in IT strategic planning and organizational development.
