Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated adjunct faculty to join our team on a part-time basis. These roles are filled based on the needs of the institution and may be available at the beginning of each academic term.

Successful candidates will be required to complete an online certification course or provide proof of prior training in distance education methodologies. We continuously accept applications from qualified individuals interested in teaching on a part-time basis. Academic departments will reach out to applicants when opportunities arise.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver instruction for undergraduate Safety Management Technology courses.Demonstrate a commitment to student engagement, integrating technology into the learning process, and fostering an interactive learning environment.Maintain accurate records of student performance in accordance with institutional policies.Submit necessary reports to the appropriate administrative offices as per the established timeline.Guide and assess student learning experiences in alignment with approved curricula and educational standards.Conduct classes according to established syllabi and instructional materials.Provide academic support and guidance to students as needed.Flexibility to teach during evenings, summers, online, hybrid formats, and weekends may be required.Hold at least one office hour per week for each three-credit course during a standard semester, or two office hours per week for an accelerated term. Office hours can be conducted in-person, via phone, or through online platforms.

Additional Responsibilities

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess an Associate's degree (or higher) in a relevant field with five years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree (or higher) with three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with online teaching and relevant certifications.Familiarity with Blackboard Learning Management System.
