About the Role


We are in search of a customer-centric Senior Vice President with an extensive network within the food retail sector to oversee the Direct to Retail Channel, which includes traditional grocery chains, specialty food outlets, warehouse clubs, and online retail platforms.

It is Kerry's expectation that the SVP will effectively fulfill this role, requiring substantial experience in cultivating and expanding business relationships with various food retail organizations that operate manufacturing facilities or commissaries and produce in-store products using high-quality ingredients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively as a member of Kerry North America's Senior Management team to achieve the established Annual Business Plan objectives.
  • Establish and maintain C-Suite level relationships with key retail partners.
  • Develop and nurture a high-performing business development and sales team.
  • Contribute significantly to the formulation, execution, and attainment of annual financial plans.
  • Engage cross-functionally (operations, supply chain, marketing, and finance) to ensure customer performance targets are met.
Travel requirements: 60% initially, moderating to 40-50%

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related discipline; MBA is highly preferred. A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in a food ingredients sector (taste & nutrition, flavors, or functional ingredients preferred), with at least 8 years in commercial management roles involving food retailers and manufacturers.
  • Possesses strong and current high-level relationships with key decision-makers at target clients.
  • Demonstrated success in organically growing a business through new customer acquisition and deeper market penetration.
  • Experience with successful mergers and acquisitions.
  • Active involvement in new product development initiatives.
  • Experience working within a matrix organizational structure in a complex multinational environment.
  • Proven track record in building high-performing teams and fostering a positive workplace culture.
