Job Overview

Ariel Partners is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for conducting test activities, leading the transition from manual testing to automated testing, and coordinating efforts with our dedicated automated test team and Senior Test Manager.

This is an exceptional opportunity to transition a team to a more technically advanced automated testing solution using Agile Scrum methodology and collaboration with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct test activities and lead the transition from manual testing to automated testing
  • Coordinate efforts with the automated test team and Senior Test Manager
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their testing needs and develop solutions

Requirements:

  • US Citizen and ability to pass a public trust investigation
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on testing experience with relevant automated and manual testing experience
  • Experience using testing tools such as Azure DevOps and SpecFlow
  • Excellent understanding and experience of test automation frameworks, regression, system, functional, and performance testing
  • Hands-on experience writing SQL queries and knowledge of SQL databases
  • Exceptional collaborative communication skills
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Agile Development/Scrum framework
  • Understanding of Test-Driven Development and/or Behavior-Driven Development
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of test automation tools and IDEs
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration Tools (TeamCity)
