Financial Operations Specialist

Gauzy Ltd., a world-leading material science company, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join its financial department. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting employees, customers, and third-party vendors in receiving invoices, payments, and tracking receipts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable: Manage purchase orders, item/goods receipts, invoices, and payments
  • Accounts Receivable: Invoicing customers, collecting and recording receipts
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation
  • Period close reconciliations, accruals, and revenue cut-off journal entries
  • Coordinates timekeeping and payroll systems
  • Tracking employee attendance system
  • File payroll tax and quarterly tax reports
  • Administer company benefits (health, 401k, etc.)
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping (QuickBooks experience an advantage)
  • Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles (GAAP), laws, and regulations
  • Familiarity with payroll software/HRIS
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Accounting certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) an advantage
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, attention to detail
  • Service-oriented, multitasking
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
