About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Community Choice Financial Family of Brands. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and leading our sales and service team to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by educating consumers and making recommendations based on their financial needs.
  • Oversee account management, including collection calls and recovery processes, while maintaining a focus on customer service to prevent loss and charge-off accounts.
  • Develop customer relationships and complete inbound and outbound call campaigns daily to build new business, maintain store profitability, and further brand loyalty and recognition.
  • Maximize customers' success by offering ancillary products that fit their needs.
  • Provide support, coaching, and development to Customer Service Representatives in order to improve the team's potential.
  • Help ensure a work environment that upholds compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain internal and external store appearance and cleanliness, addressing basic facility needs and scheduling maintenance services.
  • Maintain office security protocols and conduct proper opening and closing procedures, including management of vault and cash drawer.
  • Engage in ongoing training and remain updated on our evolving products and processes.
  • Work efficiently in a rapidly changing environment and handle multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
  • Minimum one year experience in customer service, sales, or retail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated)
