Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Chiropractic Assistant to join our team at Hoffmann Chiropractic LLC. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Greet and assist patients, providing a welcoming and positive experience.
  • Scheduling and Calendar Management: Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar.
  • Communication and Verification: Confirm patient appointments and recall missed appointments, assist with insurance verification, and collect copays/deductibles.
  • Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain patient records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Support to Chiropractors: Assist chiropractors with patient intake, including taking medical histories and preparing patients for treatments.
  • Office Management: Help manage the flow of patients in the office, ensuring timely appointments and minimal wait times.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on chiropractic care, treatment plans, and health benefits.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and processing payments.
  • Therapy Modalities: Assist with therapy modalities, monitor/instruct individual exercises, or operate equipment, as directed by the doctor.
  • Supply Inventory and Equipment Maintenance: Assist in monitoring supply inventory and condition of equipment and report to office manager.
  • Confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance: Ensure confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or chiropractic office is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, basic computer skills, including familiarity with office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Attention to detail and a strong sense of organization, a team player with a positive attitude and a passion for helping others.
