Clinical Development Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Development Director to join our team at Adverum Biotechnologies. As a key member of our clinical development program, you will provide scientific and technical expertise to drive the success of our gene therapy product candidates.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute clinical development strategies to advance our product candidates through the clinical trial process.
- Study Design and Management: Oversee the design, planning, and execution of clinical studies, including study start-up, CRO and vendor management, and clinical data and safety monitoring.
- Regulatory Interactions: Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with US and Global regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of clinical development professionals to drive the success of our clinical programs.
- Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between clinical development, regulatory, and other functions to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Education: MD, PhD, or OD required; PharmD with relevant experience may be considered.
- Experience: 5-10 years of clinical research and/or clinical development experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, CRO health-related consulting company, or biomedical/clinical experience within academia.
- Skills: Proven ability to drive decision-making within a multi-disciplinary, multi-regional, matrix team; diplomacy and positive influencing abilities; commitment to developing and mentoring team members.
