Position Summary

We are looking for a Healthcare Credentialing Specialist to take on essential responsibilities in our organization. In this role, you will be tasked with gathering and organizing up-to-date information on all credentialed healthcare providers, confirming existing data, and monitoring all credentials that are set to expire or require updates. Additionally, you will handle applications for both initial credentialing and re-credentialing of providers, communicate with those whose credentials are nearing expiration, and ensure precise record-keeping for every provider.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy of all credential and licensing records for healthcare providers
  • Organize and maintain copies of all state licenses held by active providers
  • Monitor expiration dates for all provider credentials and licenses
  • Process new credentialing applications in accordance with state laws and regulations
  • Uphold a high standard of confidentiality in all matters
Required Qualifications
  • Familiarity with credentialing and licensing processes within the state is preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work independently
