Key Responsibilities
  • Credentialing and Enrollment: Coordinate and monitor the credentialing and enrollment process for healthcare providers, ensuring timely and compliant completion.
  • Provider Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the onboarding process.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure all internal and external databases are updated and current, and maintain necessary reporting and documentation for expiration monitoring and re-enrollment processes.
  • Problem-Solving and Audits: Assist with audits and identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathering and analyzing information and developing alternative solutions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred; will consider candidates with experience in medical staff services or certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) in lieu of degree.
  • Skills and Abilities: Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite and other programs specific to the company; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong organizational and time management skills; high level of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to multitask and prioritize.
