Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Managing a select portfolio of high-end Commercial Lines clients with precision and dedication.


  • Developing and implementing strategic workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency, drive productivity, and achieve outstanding results.


  • Collaborating closely with our Director of Commercial Lines to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure seamless communication, and foster a culture of innovation.


  • Identifying growth opportunities, including cross-selling and expanding coverage options, to drive revenue and market share.


  • Leading the achievement of agency goals and performance objectives through data-driven decision making and strategic planning.


  • Continuously enhancing the client service experience, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction, and building long-term relationships.


  • Generating and analyzing monthly reports to assess progress toward departmental goals, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.


  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers, leveraging their expertise, and fostering a spirit of collaboration.


  • Fostering a productive and positive work environment within the department, promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.


  • Providing ongoing training to ensure optimal utilization of our agency management system, carrier websites, and other tools, empowering team members to excel in their roles.


  • Participating in annual staff evaluations, contributing to the hiring and training of new team members, and helping to shape the department's talent pipeline.


  • Taking on additional responsibilities as required by the role, embracing challenges, and demonstrating adaptability in a fast-paced environment.




Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:



  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance, with a proven track record of success.


  • An active MA P & C License, with knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.


  • Proficiency with Applied Epic, or similar systems, with a strong understanding of their functionality and capabilities.


  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing team.


  • Strong problem-solving and customer service abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding client expectations.


  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.




What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
