Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator and Field Laborer to join our team at Webber, LLC. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for performing various manual duties, including operating heavy equipment, lifting materials, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lift, carry, and hold construction materials, tools, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes, to perform tasks like digging, spreading, and leveling dirt, sand, and gravel.
  • Assist in the installation of pipes and other infrastructure, and help maintain erosion control measures.
  • Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and other materials using hand tools.
Requirements
  • At least three years of related construction experience, preferably in heavy equipment operation and laboring.
  • Ability to move freely throughout a construction site, which may include climbing ladders, operating heavy equipment, and lifting heavy objects.
  • Compliance with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, including reporting any unsafe activities to supervisors or HR.
  • Participation in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
