About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Professional to join our team as a Climate Resilience Sales Lead. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the growth of our climate resilience service by identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify potential customers through various channels, including industry events and partnerships.
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and prospects, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our climate risk, resilience, and adaptation services, including consulting and SaaS offerings.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products and services.
  • Track sales performance, prepare accurate forecasts, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years in sales and 1-3 years of experience in sales within the climate risk, resilience, and/or adaptation space.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong understanding of climate risk management and SaaS solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales enablement tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling to enterprise-level clients.
  • Knowledge of climate risk and resilience policy & trends.
  • Experience with sales enablement and business development.
