Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Workforce Development Specialist I to join our team at First Solar. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing project tasks and activities required for the workforce recruitment, training, and development of production operations and maintenance associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and data gathering
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams in determining training needs and improvements
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain training solutions
  • Print training materials and ensure all documentation is up-to-date
  • Develop own skills on training tools and methods

Requirements:

  • Entry-level position with demonstrated behavioral and technical skills
  • Actively working toward a college degree in a technical discipline or related field
  • Dependable and passionate about learning and helping others grow
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to facilitate groups
  • Organized and able to gather data and produce reports

Physical Requirements:

  • Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to 12 hours per day
  • Will climb stairs on an occasional basis
  • Will exert up to 58 pounds of force to lift, push or pull on a seldom basis
