Sterile Processing Department Manager

Ochsner Health is seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Manager to oversee the sterile processing team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of the sterile processing team.
- Develop and implement budget plans, including FTE allotments, overtime management, and equipment and supply expenses.
- Oversee the ordering, maintenance, and inventory of medical equipment and supplies.
- Drive quality initiatives and improvement plans, focusing on metrics and quality indicators.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Associate's degree in health science or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 3 years of clinical or leadership experience (5 years preferred).
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Sterile Processing Department Technician (CSPDT) certification.
