Bryson is seeking a skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our account management team, you will be responsible for managing an established book of local and national accounts, servicing existing clients, and fostering new business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay informed on insurance technical knowledge, market trends, and agency automation
  • Manage ongoing client service relationships with approximately 60 group accounts
  • Maintain open and clear communication channels with clients, insurance carriers, and internal partners
  • Foster carrier relationships through regular meetings
  • Develop connections with key decision-makers in the book of business
  • Identify problems, summarize, and develop strategic solutions
  • Communicate due dates, timelines, and expectations to clients and partners
  • Prepare ACORD Forms and specific marketing applications through communication with producers and clients
  • Collect loss history from carriers and clients
  • Submit ACORD Form data, specific marketing applications, and loss history information to insurance carriers and wholesalers via email or carrier website/portal
  • Phone and email follow-up with prospects and clients to secure additional underwriting data or miscellaneous information
  • Phone and email follow-up with carriers and wholesalers to secure quotations and miscellaneous data by set deadline
  • Prepare proposals for new business and client renewals
  • Review proposals with prospects and clients by phone or in-person based on client needs
  • Monthly or quarterly phone and in-person communication with key referral contacts
  • Ensure clients are aware of all resources Bryson offers

Requirements:

  • High level of technical insurance knowledge
  • A California State Property & Casualty License
  • Two years of insurance agency customer service experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Sound professional and personal judgment
  • Strong business acumen
  • Polished interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, handle changing priorities, and maintain confidentiality and discretion
