Position Overview:

The Guest Room Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all accommodations and communal spaces meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards. This position directly oversees and manages the performance of housekeeping staff.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a warm and service-focused manner, maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative workplace by addressing and resolving conflicts with composure.
  • Possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to effectively communicate with guests, other departments, and housekeeping personnel.
  • Compile a list of unoccupied rooms to be serviced promptly and identify upcoming checkouts to organize work assignments.
  • Stay informed about daily operations, including room occupancy, special requests, and VIP accommodations.
  • Coordinate with the front desk regarding room changes, VIP guests, and any special requirements.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of property inspection protocols.
  • Conduct daily evaluations of guest rooms, public areas, and recreational facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company expectations for guest services, decor, and housekeeping practices.
  • Lead meetings and training sessions as necessary.
  • Actively train all staff according to established standards and monitor their performance.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping within the hospitality sector is preferred.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a highly autonomous environment.
