Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine Outreach team. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing quality, evidence-based athletic health care to stakeholders in our sports medicine outreach program. Your primary focus will be on developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health care programs for patients, clients, and athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide injury/illness prevention and wellness protection services to athletes and patients
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans to address injuries and illnesses
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive health care programs for patients and athletes
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Travel to various locations to provide athletic training services
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field
  • Master's degree in athletic training or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Completion of a CAATE-approved athletic training education program (or equivalent)
  • 1 year of relevant experience in athletic training
  • CRT-Athletic Trainer certification (BOC Board of Certification and Accreditation)
  • LIC-Athletic Trainer license (State of Michigan)
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC)
