Position Summary:

We are looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth operations at the front desk. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, greeting them, answering questions, and processing incoming patients and payments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers, answer questions, and process incoming patients and payments
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email
  • Schedule appointments for new and existing patients
  • Update and file patient charts
  • Enter data into a computerized billing program
  • Process credit card payments
  • Retrieve prescriptions and assist with pet supply purchases
  • Assist with inventory stock and reordering
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the waiting room

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; education in Veterinary Medicine is a plus
  • Must enjoy working with animals
  • Proficient in using computer programs
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service and outstanding communication skills

Working Conditions:
  • Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
  • Pay - Based on experience
