Tax Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our Corporate Tax services team at RSM US LLP. As a Tax Senior Manager, you will play a key role in helping our public and private multinational corporate tax clients meet their accounting for income tax reporting requirements and income tax consulting and compliance obligations.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on their tax strategy using both industry experience and technical expertise
- Managing the impact tax has on their business
- Delivering a customized technology-enabled service delivery model to facilitate better decision making in achieving our clients' strategic objectives
- Serving as a mentor or coach to one or more employees
- Driving growth and profitability of industry/specialty area
- Interacting directly with clients handling questions, planning, consulting, etc.
- Training and developing staff members
- Leading and managing the business relationship of complex engagements
- Reviewing research findings and ensuring conclusions are consistent with firm policies and professional standards
- Building relationships across lines of business to ensure excellent client service
- Managing corporate client needs with respect to tax services and federal and state tax compliance
- Remaining up to date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA, JD, LLM, or EA
- Experience with C-Corps
- 8 or more years of public accounting experience or equivalent in law firms or industry
- Ability to support financial growth efforts and manage a book of business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
