Job Overview

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is collaborating with a prominent aerospace manufacturer specializing in blind rivet fasteners to recruit multiple Machine Operators. This role is available on the second shift. The ideal candidate should possess experience with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers, along with skills in blueprint interpretation and machine setup.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate various thread rolling machines to manufacture high-quality aircraft fasteners.
  • Interpret technical documents including blueprints and manufacturing orders to effectively plan machine setup and operations.
  • Conduct machine setups and adjustments to ensure production meets specifications.
  • Select, mount, and align tooling and materials accurately.
  • Monitor machine operations, including starting, stopping, and feeding materials, while ensuring optimal performance.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools for inspections before, during, and after production runs.
  • Oversee and perform rework on tools as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting safety guidelines, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with various units of measure.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Willingness to work on the first shift during training.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
