Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Determine and manage resources (manpower, equipment, materials) within budget constraints to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Plan and coordinate all construction operations, scheduling intermediate phases to meet deadlines and ensure timely completion.
  • Recruit and manage subcontractors and vendors, delegating responsibilities as needed to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Monitor progress and prepare detailed reports to track project performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Submit monthly progress billings and ensure compliance with labor regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules, phasing, and sequencing to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to health and safety standards and address any issues promptly to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager with a deep understanding of construction procedures, material management, and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and health and safety regulations, with a strong emphasis on compliance and risk management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Project) and experience with construction/project management software such as Procore and BlueBeam.
  • Experience overseeing direct trade work including earthwork, underground utilities, concrete, and framing, with a strong understanding of construction methods and techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Effective team player with leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams to achieve project goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Building Science, or a related field, with a PMP or similar certification an advantage.
