The Retail Sales Consultant engages with numerous customers, guiding them through their vehicle purchasing experience in a no-haggle sales environment. Utilizing your exceptional communication and listening abilities, you will assist customers in selecting their ideal vehicle, negotiating terms that align with their financial situations and expectations, and successfully closing the sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with a diverse customer base to facilitate their vehicle purchasing process in a straightforward sales environment.
  • Leverage your communication and listening skills to assist customers in choosing their perfect vehicle, ensuring that payment options align with their lifestyles and budgets.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience, fostering loyalty by following up to guarantee customer satisfaction and facilitating transitions to the Service department for ongoing support.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Motivation to set and achieve targeted goals.
  • Previous sales experience, preferably in retail.
  • Strong communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to follow up with customers.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for working with technology.
  • Valid in-state driver's license and a safe driving record.
Compensation Structure:
  • Initial Phase: Months 1-3.
  • Receive a base salary or hourly wage based on the store and location, with additional bonuses based on units sold and customer service scores. Monthly reviews with your manager will help you understand how to maximize your incentive compensation.
Progression: Months 4 and Beyond:
  • After the initial phase, you will transition to a commission-based pay plan, allowing you to take control of your financial future. You will benefit from competitive commission pay based on various factors, including gross profit and customer service metrics.
