    • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including staffing, training, and performance monitoring.

    • Communicate effectively with guests and supervisors to address questions and provide clear direction.
    • Organize, conduct, and attend meetings to exchange relevant information.
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Train and provide career development for housekeeping staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise and Motivate Staff
    • Supervise and motivate all housekeeping staff, including staffing, training, discipline, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
  • Inspect and Monitor Work
    • Assign duties to supervisors and inspect work for accuracy, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Complete Projects and Maintain Records
    • Complete assigned projects and maintain written progress records.
  • Conduct Performance Evaluations
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
  • Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures
    • Adhere to company philosophies, policies, and procedures, effectively communicating them to subordinates.
  • Conduct Training on Safety and Security
    • Conduct training on safety, security, department procedures, and service guidelines.
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned
    • Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with room cleaning when short-staffed.

Requirements

  • Experience and Qualifications
    • Proven experience in housekeeping operations, with at least 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills
    • Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong focus on cleanliness, quality, and efficiency.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment, as well as health and safety regulations.
    • Highly proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
    • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including data entry, email management, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment
    • Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Education and Certifications
    • Valid TN State Driver's License.
  • Additional Requirements
    • Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays.
    • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
