Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining the scalability, availability, and security of our cloud-based platforms.
  • Design and execute Azure infrastructure solutions, encompassing virtual networks, storage accounts, virtual machines, and network security configurations.
  • Deploy and set up Azure resources utilizing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) methodologies such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, or PowerShell.
  • Safeguard the security, integrity, and high availability of IT systems.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve issues effectively.
  • Conduct comprehensive systems tests to assess security, performance, and availability.
  • Create and maintain documentation for design and troubleshooting processes.
  • Implement robust backup and recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with the team to establish and refine cloud infrastructure strategies, architectures, and best practices.
  • Work alongside development, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of Azure services.
  • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience as an Azure Infrastructure Engineer or in a comparable position.
  • Extensive knowledge of Azure services and technologies, including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage accounts, and network security groups.
  • Strong grasp of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and load balancing.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Azure CLI, or PowerShell.
  • Solid understanding of security protocols and best practices in Azure, including IAM, network security, and encryption.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar capacity.
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows Server environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services.
  • Familiarity with network technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, load balancing).
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the capability to collaborate effectively within a team.
