POSITION SUMMARY:


Heritage Mazda of Catonsville, recognized as the leading new car volume Mazda dealership in the DMVA region, is in search of dedicated automotive sales consultants.

With an extensive inventory of over 300 new vehicles available, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the sale of both new and pre-owned automobiles, whether at the dealership or through offsite events.

Your objective will be to enhance gross profit, achieve sales volume targets, and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction while conducting all business transactions with integrity and professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR AUTOMOTIVE SALES

CONSULTANTS:

  • Assisting customers in selecting vehicles that meet their requirements while achieving dealership sales objectives

  • Utilizing the dealership's Customer Relationship Management System (eLead) to manage customer interactions and maintain accurate records

  • Cultivating relationships with clients and engaging with them to ascertain their needs

  • Showcasing vehicle options that align with each customer's expressed preferences and demonstrating features during test drives

  • Following up on all post-sale activities
  • Generating new business through follow-up communications with existing customers and referral sources, while educating potential clients about our offerings and promotional programs

REQUIREMENTS FOR AUTOMOTIVE SALES

CONSULTANTS:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience; consumer-to-consumer sales experience is preferred
  • Experience in a commission or bonus-driven environment is advantageous
  • Strong skills in negotiation, problem-solving, and presentation
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office; proficiency in computer software, internet navigation, and fundamental math skills
