Position Summary:

The Heavy Equipment Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in developing and nurturing a customer base within the designated area, focusing on the sale of the complete range of Deutz-Fahr Tractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage new potential clients to assess how our offerings can fulfill their requirements.
  • Effectively communicate the advantages of our machinery and services to prospective customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of new contracts and document interactions with clients.
  • Establish and foster strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate the swift resolution of technical issues and customer inquiries.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, product demonstrations, and relevant meetings.
  • Stay informed about new products introduced by our suppliers and competitors.
  • Keep management updated on any changes in the territory that may impact business performance.
  • Ensure timely delivery of equipment as per customer orders.
  • Collaborate closely with the Credit Manager to address any credit or payment-related concerns.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the industry.
  • Prior experience in heavy equipment sales is preferred.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Proficient in clear and concise written communication.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
