Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Services Manager to join our team at The MetroHealth System. As a key member of our WIC program, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve nutrition services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement long-term and short-term program development plans
  • Coordinate and evaluate nutrition services provided by the WIC program
  • Utilize knowledge and skills to identify and address maternal, infant, and child nutritional needs
  • Ensure efficient interdisciplinary team competence and performance of staff
  • Execute tasks while following Federal WIC regulations, Ohio WIC Policies and Procedures, and Cuyahoga County WIC Program guidelines
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Dietitian (LD) in the state of Ohio
  • 3-5 years of experience as a licensed dietitian
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer knowledge
  • Able to analyze, plan, implement, direct, and evaluate systems programs and resources
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) certification
  • One year of supervisory experience
  • Master's degree in Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, or Business
  • Ability to speak Spanish
Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. Must be able to see in the normal visual range with or without correction and hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment is required. May need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
