We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Clerk to join our team at Cardenas Markets. As a Meat Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality meat products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with meat selection and provide recommendations on various cuts and products.
- Cut, trim, and package meat products to meet customer needs and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
- Operate meat processing equipment safely and efficiently to meet customer demand.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a meat department or related field preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
