Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional/Overnight to join our team at The Kennedy CollectiveSM. As a key member of our residential support team, you will provide direct support to and advocate for individuals residing in our residential homes, promoting choice, providing appropriate support, and coordinating activities to foster individual well-being, growth, and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote choice, provide appropriate support, and coordinate activities to foster individual well-being, growth, and development.
  • Ensure that all services, programs, and guidelines outlined in an individual's ISP are implemented as assigned.
  • Ensure that all Kennedy CollectiveSM and DDS regulations and policies are adhered to.
  • Responsible for the supervision and coordination of daily living skills, including personal care, recreation, meal prep, and household chores.
  • Provide professional and timely communication with co-workers, supervisor, families, and guardians, and other team members.
  • Record and maintain individuals' records in Therap as assigned.
  • Administer medications in accordance with DDS regulations.
  • Advocate for individuals whenever necessary and teach individuals to advocate for themselves.
  • Ensure the protection of all individuals' rights and safety by following HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office and the internet.
