We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at Soar Autism Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) develop their communication skills and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in children with ASD
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills and address specific needs
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education, resources, and support to families to empower them to support their child's communication development
  • Regularly evaluate and document progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
  • License to practice speech pathology in the state of Arizona or Colorado
  • 3+ years of experience in speech therapy, with a preference for those with experience working with children with ASD
  • Prior experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) or a willingness to learn
