Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at Soar Autism Center. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding care to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD
  • Develop and execute detailed treatment plans aimed at improving the communication abilities of children aged 2-6, employing a diverse array of therapeutic techniques and instruments
  • Collaborate extensively with our multidisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Actively involve families in the treatment process by providing them with education, resources, and support to foster their child's speech and language development
  • Regularly evaluate and document the progress of each child, fine-tuning interventions as necessary to maximize effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
  • License to practice speech pathology in the state of your chosen center (i.e., Arizona or Colorado)
  • Preference to SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but also open to new SLPs starting their career
  • Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams
