Senior Account Executive

Energy Systems Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our Public Sector East team. This role will be based in South Florida and will focus on generating new business by developing leads and relationships with potential utility and public sector clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong consultative sales approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand and translate customer needs into feasible solutions. They will work closely with the operations team to develop and present proposals to customers, and will be responsible for meeting sales objectives and gross margin goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new business through trade shows, research, and cold calls
- Develop thorough knowledge of the renewable energy industry and its trends
- Cultivate effective business relationships and communicate solutions to meet customer goals
- Meet sales objectives and gross margin goals
- Prepare and present professional proposals to customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Seven or more years' industry experience selling large solutions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
