Key Responsibilities:

1. Uphold a professional demeanor and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills with patients, visitors, physicians, and colleagues, in alignment with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.

2. Ensure the provision of high-quality radiation therapy by engaging in linear accelerator quality assurance, treatment planning, brachytherapy, and consultations, adhering to AAPM standards.

3. Offer technical expertise and support for the integration of new technologies, while continuously seeking enhancements in the delivery of physics and dosimetry services within the department.

4. Guarantee a high standard of treatment delivery by implementing quality assurance and calibration protocols for all radiation devices, in accordance with established practices and standards.

5. Oversee treatment planning physics, radiation safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

6. Utilize strong communication skills to convey complex concepts and foster collaboration within the radiation oncology team.

7. Conduct regular reviews of patient treatment records and perform annual quality assurance assessments on equipment.

8. Maintain accreditation with the ACR.

9. Demonstrate proficiency in contemporary treatment planning methodologies and intricate dose calculations.
