Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at The Greene House. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities- Restaurant Operations: Manage daily restaurant operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Culinary Leadership: Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Guest Experience: Create memorable dining experiences by exceeding guest expectations, ensuring prompt and friendly service, and addressing any guest concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Team Development: Coach, lead, and develop restaurant team members, providing opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
- 3+ years of high-volume restaurant management experience
- Demonstrated understanding of business operations and financials
- Ability to manage shifts, including daily decision-making, scheduling, and planning
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
- Knowledge of POS systems and online reservation systems
