Pediatric Congenital Heart Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Congenital Heart Surgeon to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering world-class pediatric heart care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex congenital heart surgeries on newborns, children, adolescents, and adults
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients
- Participate in clinical, research, and educational activities
- Develop and maintain established and new programs
- Lead, direct, and influence a team to drive excellence in patient care
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or board eligible in critical care medicine within two (2) years of completion of training
- Completion of a fellowship in critical care medicine at an accredited institution
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas (or the ability to obtain prior to appointment)
- Proven experience in managing complex cardiovascular cases in an ICU setting
- Exceptional clinical skills and proficiency in critical care procedures
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
- Passionate about teaching at the bedside and in the classroom
- Fosters a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and empathy in the ICU
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
